This is an annual publication, free to members. In recent years, it has been a 32-page booklet appearing towards the end of February, in time to be sent out to members along with the agenda for the Society's AGM. Each issue contains reports on the year's activities and concerns by the Chairman, other officers and committee members, but usually well over half the contents consist of articles and photos on a wide range of topics related to Restronguet & Penpol Creeks, such as:

Memories of the district as it was,
local shops, local characters
Natural history of the area, especially bird life
Industrial history, especially mining and related industries
Boats and boat building
Regattas (Devoran and Point & Penpol)
Other events around the creek
Recommended local walks
Local farms & smallholdings
Interesting local houses and gardens
Cuttings from local newspapers
Reviews of books and other publications relevant to the area
Controversial issues, e.g. related to planning proposals, the Mineral Tramways Heritage Project, new roads, the new school at Devoran, speed limits, bonfires, moorings, etc

The Editor, currently Carolyn Brownscombe, welcomes contributions, ideally typed or in electronic format, but articles in longhand are perfectly acceptable. Relevant photos, sketches etc are also welcome and originals will, of course, be returned.

The deadline for inclusion in the forthcoming issue is early December, but the earlier the better....!
